We're thrilled to announce the reintroduction of one of NDSSโ top legislative priorities - the ๐พ๐๐๐ง๐ก๐ค๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐ฟ๐๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐ผ๐๐ฉ in the 119th Congress! This legislation seeks to ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป against individuals with disabilities who are seeking life-saving organ transplants. No one should be denied access to the healthcare they need because of their disability.
Named in honor of DSANV's Charlotte Woodward, NDSS program associate and transplant recipient, this bill is a critical step toward ensuring ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป for all Americans. Charlotte was at the Capitol yesterday celebrating the reintroduction of her bill with Congresswoman Kat Cammack and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell.
